The Bush Lake Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America received a grant from the Nine Mile Creek Watershed District to restore a portion of our property on Bush Lake in Bloomington.  This restoration will provide wildlife habitat, provide flowers and nesting sites for pollinators, and improve water quality.  This is a rewarding activity and gives you the opportunity to learn more about restoration, native plants, invasive plants, pollinators, and much more.

No experience necessary-all ages welcome-kids encouraged with adult supervision. Wear gardening clothes. Rain or shine. If you can't help plant, please consider bringing food or drinks for our hard-working planters! We hope to see you there!
