The Bush Lake Chapter provides funding for several types of scholarships, from college scholarships to summer camp scholarships, to funding school field-trips to the nearby Richardson Nature Center.
$1,000 - College Scholarship (through Minnesota Division of the Izaak Walton League). Applicants must be enrolled and currently majoring in Environmental Education, Environmental Law, Wildlife Management or other programs leading to careers in conservation and/or environmental education.

Applications are typically due in May, and awarded by August.
$2,500 - College Scholarship (through the National IWLA office). Applicants must be either past recipients of Izaak Walton League scholarships (such as from the Mn Division) or be a current member (or have a parent who is an IWLA member).

SUMMER CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS (for 9-16 year olds):
Izaak Walton Camp at Deep Portage Learning Center (near Hackensack, MN). This camp is typically held in the later half of July, and lasts for around one week. Its a fun-filled and educational camp, with great staff and an awesome location in an actively managed forest abutting absolutely beautiful lakes. https://www.deep-portage.org/izaak-walton-league-camp
