Bloomington Sustainability Commission

Thanks to the Ikes and other members of the community, and our City Council and City Staff, the City of Bloomington Sustainability Commission was created in 2017.  The Commission is made up of residents of Bloomington and their work focuses on multiple areas of sustainability, including Energy and Carbon, Water Quality and Conservation, Ecological Land Stewardship, and Solid Waste.
