Purpose: Explore the need for a broader ecosystems approach to water management planning and implementation in Minnesota.
While Minnesota is a national leader in water resource protection, today's governance framework surrounding water management has become increasingly specialized and compartmentalized into a diverse array of technical disciplines. To tackle the complex issues facing our modern society, there is a need for a more holistic broad-based paradigm of planning and management that reflects the integrated and interdependent ecological relationships of our natural environment.
Please join us as we explore the need to bridge our specialized technical understanding with a broad ecological perspective to effectively address the complex issues facing us.
Volunteers are needed to help with day-of registrations/check-ins, etc. - if you are interested in helping, contact Jill Crafton - jillgreatlakesike@gmail.com
