10am-Noon Meet at the Normandale Boat Launch (Directions) 
This event will be postponed to Feb. 5th, 10am-Noon if there is a blizzard or extreme temperatures. 

In 2021, our Chapter put up 15 wood duck houses on Normandale Lake. Come and help get the wood duck houses ready for the return of the "woodies"! Learn about wood ducks and other waterfowl. Houses will be cleaned out and fresh wood chips placed. Some boxes may require small repairs. We will also be putting predator guards on several houses that don't have any, to prevent predation by raccoons and other predators. 

This activity will take place on the ice. Dress for the weather and conditions- bring a mask, water, snacks, sunblock, and ice grips and tools (screwdrivers, multitools, wrench sets) if you have them.  If we get lots of snow before the event, please bring snow shoes. Chapter members may bring guests.
