Help eradicate invasive buckthorn from the Chapter! Buckthorn is an invasive tree/shrub that threatens our woodlands and other natural areas. Fall is the best time to manage it.
We will be hand pulling/digging small-medium buckthorn, and cutting and treating larger buckthorn. We will also be brush hauling.
Please arrive at or before 1pm for introductions and instructions.
Bring cutting tools, and weed wrench/pullers if you have them and warm clothes, sturdy shoes, gloves, water, snacks, sunblock and bug spray (ticks may still be active).
No experience necessary. Chapter members will provide training on what to look for and how to control it.

If weather is not conducive for the work, we will cancel or reschedule
