Please Register to help with planning

In 2021, our Chapter put up 15 wood duck houses on Normandale Lake. Come and help get the wood duck houses ready for the return of the "woodies"! Learn about wood ducks and other waterfowl. Houses will be cleaned out and fresh wood chips placed. Some boxes may require small repairs. 

This activity will take place on the ice and along the shore. Dress for the weather and conditions- bring water, snacks, sunblock, and ice grips, snowshoes and tools (screwdrivers, multitools, wrench sets) if you have them.  Open to the public.

Parking 

We will meet on foot at the boat launch at 10am sharp! Please park at the north end of the parking lot across the street from the boat launch.  This lot may fill with ski hill users.  If full, please park in the parking lot north of the band shell and walk over to the boat launch.  Please see map below.
