Ike's Creek Volunteer Event - Hands-On Conservation in Restoring a Trout Stream.

If you have not yet visited and experienced this area, you will be amazed that it still exists in the metro area.

Meet at the "Bass Ponds" parking lot (near Cypress Semi-Conductor, east of the intersection of 86th Street and E Old Shakopee Road), near the Mall of America.

Bring "outdoor work" clothes, gloves, including hiking-type boots - we'll be working in the woods on occassional slopes.

Also bring along your digital camera, if possible - to capture scenery and moments for our website photo gallery!

The Izaak Walton League has a long history with this stream and the Bass Ponds at the base of the Minnesota River Bluffs.  Help us to continue this history of caring for this special area.

Please pre-register for this event, to help us in planning.
