Due to our grassroots efforts in advocating for a conservation minded Farm Bill and for pollinator and wildlife habitat, we have been invited to have a booth at the Minneapolis Monarch Festival on September 7.
This is a great event that celebrates the Monarch Butterflies and other pollinators, whose numbers are in decline.  Learn more about the event here: http://www.monarchfestival.org/

We need volunteers to greet attendees, distribute milkweed seeds (monarch's favorite plant), and provide education about our conservation mission here at the Chapter.
We welcome any Spanish speaking members to come and help that day.  Last year the event welcomed 9,000 attendees, 40% of which were Spanish speakers.  This is a great opportunity to spread our conservation message across cultural borders and a great opportunity for students or other members.  If you can't help and just want to attend, it is great event for all ages!
